What originally motivated you to found Softwaro / join the management of Software Management GmbH?
The motivation was to develop software that simplifies companies’ day-to-day operations through digital technologies, thereby creating the foundation for sustainable success.
The Story Behind Softwaro & Fleetwaro.ai
How has the company evolved since 2004? What was the key reason for developing Fleetwaro.ai?
In the early years, starting in 2004, we focused on software project business. From 2009 onwards, we developed the telematics solution GPS Fleet Software, which is now used by nearly 1,000 business customers across many countries.
In 2025, we decided to develop Fleetwaro, a new B2B SaaS solution with a strong AI core. Fleetwaro.ai is a cloud-based platform for intelligent fleet management that centrally and digitally manages vehicles, costs, documents, and processes. Through AI-driven automation, it significantly reduces administrative effort, provides full transparency, and supports companies in making well-informed decisions. Customers can save up to 70% in administrative costs.
Fleetwaro.ai has global potential and is fully independent of telematics hardware. Billing, support, and rollout are largely automated. Our goal is to take both the software and Softwaro GmbH itself to the next international level, including establishing a U.S. subsidiary.
