An interview with Klemens Häusler (KH), CEO Marketing & Sales of Softwaro GmbH
about the start of Fleetwaro, why Fleetwaro was created and what customers can expect from it.

1. What is Fleetwaro.ai and why is it relevant for modern fleet managers?

KH: Fleetwaro.ai is our new cloud-based platform for digital fleet management. It’s designed specifically for fleet managers who want to handle their vehicle fleet more efficiently, with more transparency and lower administrative effort.

With Fleetwaro, companies can digitally organize vehicles, drivers, costs, maintenance tasks, and documents—without Excel spreadsheets, without paper forms, and without manual data entry.

Our mission is to provide fleet managers with an intuitive software solution that uses AI-driven workflows to deliver real time and cost savings from day one.

2. What is truly new and unique about Fleetwaro.ai?

KH: Unlike traditional fleet management systems is built around deep AI integration.

We developed Fleetwaro from scratch so that artificial intelligence is not an add-on, but the core of the platform. Our AI reads vehicle documents, processes receipts, recognizes invoices, and extracts all relevant data fully automatically.
This makes fleet management significantly faster, more accurate, and dramatically reduces administrative workload.

3. What concrete advantages does AI-powered fleet management offer in Fleetwaro?

KH: Fleet managers benefit on several levels:

  • Vehicles can be created in seconds—simply by uploading the vehicle registration document.
The AI automatically reads make, model, VIN, first registration date, power, and all other technical data.
  • Large consolidated workshop or leasing invoices are automatically broken down into individual line items and assigned to the correct vehicle and cost type.
  • Because all cost data is captured automatically, fleet managers finally get a complete and accurate TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) overview for the entire fleet.

This allows fleet managers to make data-driven decisions about replacement investments, leasing terms, maintenance strategies, and cost optimization.

4. Why was Fleetwaro developed as a separate product instead of being integrated into the existing GPS Fleet Software?

KH: This was a strategic decision.
GPS Fleet Software is a comprehensive telematics solution focused on digital logbooks, GPS tracking, live telematics data, and pool car reservations. Fleet management, on the other hand, requires a completely different feature set: cost management, document processing, automated workflows, compliance processes, and TCO analytics.

We wanted to avoid overloading both systems and creating unnecessary complexity.
Many fleet managers who focus on vehicle and cost administration do not want GPS tracking due to privacy or policy considerations.
Fleetwaro is therefore a standalone, modern solution tailored exactly for those needs.

5. Can Fleetwaro be connected with telematics systems?

KH: Absolutely. We see telematics and fleet administration as complementary.
Fleetwaro can import odometer readings and ignition data from telematics interfaces—including from our own GPS Fleet Software.

This makes TCO calculations more accurate, improves maintenance scheduling, and helps evaluate vehicle usage. Interfaces are in development so that drivers and users can also be synchronized across systems.

6. Who is behind Fleetwaro.ai?

KH: Fleetwaro is developed and operated by Softwaro GmbH. We run Fleetwaro on cloud servers inside the European Union and also take care that the AI service fits to European data protection standards. We have been building fleet software for more than 20 years, including the well-known GPS Fleet Software and the platform www.gps.at.

We registered Fleetwaro as an international brand and are expanding our presence in the United States through Softwaro Inc. For customers, this means long-term product development, stability, and modern solutions built by an experienced and reliable team.
